UNDEFENDED DIVORCE.
An undefended divorce petition was heard before Mr. Justice MacGregor in the Supreme Court this morning. The petitioner was Florrance Jackson (Mr. F. D. McLiver), and the respondent Fredrick Jackson. Respondent stated that she was married to her husband at Wanganui in 1917. There were two children by the marriage. In 1920 respondent had deserted her and come to Auckland. He had no just cause to leave and had on a previous occasion gone away for a fortnight. A decree nisi was granted to be made absolute in three months. The custody of the children was granted the petitioner.
