COMMUNITY SINGING.
Fur the weekly community singing | at the .Strand Theatre to-day there was apa in a. crowded attendance. Mr. M. J. Bennett presided, and Mr. H. E. Gillespie was soup leader, assisted by the ltev. Jasper (.'alder. Mrs. Osborne was the aceonipaniste. "Pack Up Your Troubles'-' was the popular song chosen for the opening of the sinsring. followed by "The More We Meet Together." "Sands of the Desert," •Bells of St. Mary," and other old favourites.
