HAMILTON MOTORISTS.

ANNUAL MEETING. A SUCCESSFUL YEAR. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON", this day. The Hamilton branch of the Auckland Automobile Association held its annual mooting at the Winter Show Hall last night. The president, Mr. W. H. King, occupied the chair. The annual report stated that the membership had increased during the year from 371 to 498, and is now up to 561. In moving the adoption of the report and balance-sheet, Mr. King said it was considered that the association should not give its special support to any particular insurance policy, as many members of the association were interested in selling motor accessories to different insurance companies. Mr. W. H. King was re-elected president. The following additional officers were elected: —Vice-presidents, Dr. A. G. Waddell. Dr. P. D. Pinfold and Mr. F. H. C'lapham; executive, Messrs. Tombs. Cowle.s. Gresham. Yule, Elson. Kirkman. llico, Luxford, Gilmour and Valentine. Should motor cyclists be admitted as members of the Auckland Automobile Association at half-fees, owing to the fact that they drive two-wheeled, as against the four-wheeled vehicles of ordinary members, was discussed. A motion' to that effect was rejected in favour of an amendment referring the question to the executive for consideration.
