DEFRAUDED STOREKEEPERS.
LABOURER SENT TO GAOL. (By Telesrraph—l'ress Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Joseph Andrew Barron, a married labourer, who had posed as a storekeeper and as the owner of a pig farm, was convicted to-day on charges of having obtained potatoes from storekeepers by fraud. He was sentenced to 12 months' hard labour.
