Motor traffic between Wellington and the Manawatu is seriously disorganised owing to a slip which occurred at the Devil's Eibovv. two miles on the Wellington side of the summit of the Paekakariki Hill. It is believed that blasting carried on by a Public Works gang, which has been engaged for some time in cutting back the corner, caused the fall.
