GEOGRAPHICAL PUZZLE.
THE "STAR" COMPETITION. WINNERS NEXT WEEK many claims sent in. Ihe claims of solvers of our geographical puzzle who have made ten mistakes or less, according to the list published last Saturday, are coining in freelv, a number of solvers claiming to have single figure errors. I lie final closing date for reception of claims has been extended until Wednesday next, because of the error, already referred to, in the original list, in which the word "Warcop" was printed '"Warcrop. It lias been decided to wipe this one picture from the competition, and the prizes will therefore go to those who make the least errors in the remaining forty-seven pictures. This is fair to all, and quite a number of solvers wrote in, on noticing the error, suggesting this course. The list of prize-winners, with the number of their errors, will be announced on Saturday next, July 28, after a careful comparison of the lists of the claimants with their original solutions, now under seal.
