THE USE OF SCARVES.
Now that scarves are appearing on every type of frock, we have to° find new ways of wearing them if we wish to look distinctive, states a writer in a London paper. The above illustrations show how Paris has solved the problems. The figure on the left shows a small handkerchief scarf knotted at the pit of the neck, and a piece of the same silk knotted at the cuff. In the centre we see an original model which has a spotted silk tie at the neck, and two silk handkerchief scarves joined together but tied separ- t atelv iu front. The third has a plaid 0 silk scarf, passed through a slot below the V of the neck, and a handkerchief f to match. j 1;
