TUDOR THEATRE.
A new dou/ble feature programme was presented at the Tudor Theatre, Remuera Road, last evening, when the comedy romance "Love Hungry," with Lois Moran and Lawrence Gray in the leading roles, and a modern setting of "Sally In Our Alley," with petite Shirley Mason in the name part, together with an exceptionally varied and interesting topical, a new "Our Gang" comedy and the Harris Sisters in a novelty musical act, completed the beat bill since the opening night. "Love Hungry" strikes a new theme, where a dhortie girl meets a newspaper reporter, whose job is to give advice to the lovelorn, but who finds it easier to tell others what to do than to do it himself. Am the heroine, in a modern setting of the well-known song, "Sally in Our Alley," Shirley Mason is a joyous little Irish maid, who is adopted by three foster-fathers, a Scotchman, a Jew and an Italian, when left an orphan'. Her sweetheart is a plumber lad, played by Richard Arlen. A wealthy aunt becomes interested in Sally, and •he is taken away from her humble friends. This programme will be repeated, to-night and on monday evening.
