WHANGAREI SHOW SOCIETY.
(By Telecraph—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, this day. At a meeting of the Whangarei Agricultural and Pastoral Society last evening, Mr. D. J. Finlayson's resignation from the executive was accepted with regret, and Mr. R. R. Bateman appointed to fill the vacancy. The society contributed £75 towards the cost of a turnstile at Kensington Park. November 28 and 29 were fixed as the dates of the next spring show. It was decided to. eliminate all inside exhibits at the spring show, with the exception of the horticultural section.
