HOMELESS MAN'S DESPAIR.

CHRISTCHURCH, Friday
David Thomas Boreoskie pleaded guilty in the Police Court to-day to attempt ing to commit suicide. Boreoskie, who was homeless, had beeu given a night's lodging by a farmer, and the next morning was found with his throat cut but not dangerously. He was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence if called upon within six months.
