MOUNT EDEN SCHOOL.
MEETING OF COMMITTEE
The monthly meeting of the Motint Eden School Committee was held on. Wednesday evening. The chairman reported that the board's architect had inspected the buildings, and promised that they would be painted and renovated as soon as possible during the present year. Alterations to the buildings had been contemplated. but the committee considered it would be better to build a unit of two or more classrooms as part of the complete neif school * buildings,. which were urgently needed.
A tote was passed for the establishment of libraries in each of the classrooms on the basis of one book per scholar.
It was reported that the supply of hot cocoa daily to scholars at a cost of threepence each per week was greatly appreciated, and was availed of by over 200, children each day.
