WOMAN KILLED IN COLLISION.

TAURANGA, Friday.
Elizabeth Ester Bowman, a married woman, residing near Rangiora, wss killed this evening in a collision between a motor car and trap.
The car, which was driven by Mrs. Bowman's husband, met in a head-on collision with the trap driven by Ellis Walters, a lad. One shaft of the cart penetrated the windscreen of the car and struck Mrs. Bowman on the chest. Death was almost instantaneous.
