PUBLIC SCHOOL BOYS.
OVER 600 IN NEW ZEALAND

WELLINGTON, Friday
The annual meeting of the New Zealand Association of Public Schools of Great Britain was held to-day. The Governor-General, Sir Charles Fergusson, presided. It was decided to admit no more boys to New Zealand under the ftclieine just at present. There are already between six and seven hundred In the country. Mr. Darroch was appointed salaried travelling officer for one year, to keep in touch with the boys and And friends for them jn thejr own districts. It was decided to form branches of the association in the other cities. The Governor-General considered the continuance of the association more thnn iustifled. " Officers elected and the schools of their attendance were as follows: President, the Governor-General (Eton); chairman of committee, Major-General Sir Andrew ®bw»11 (Harrow 1; committee, Messrs.
