WEDDING TRAGEDY.
CAR'S SKID IN LOOSE METAL. VERDICT OF ACCIDENTAL DEATH. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PAHIATUA, Thursday. The death of Donald Urquhart Gunn, of Mangatainoka, who was fatally injured when a motor car capsized when he was returning from his daughter's wedding, was accidental. Tho coroner, Mr. J. D. Wilson, found no evidence of negligence. He said the car was driven by G. H. Withers. Gunn's son-in-law, at a reasonable speed. It was quite reasonable to assume that loose metal caused the car to skid. The accident was a most unfortunate happening after the wedding festivities, and was a severe blow to the family, to whom he extended his sympathy. Mrs. Ross and Mrs. Withers, who were injured when the car capsized, have regained consciousness, but are still suffer ing from shock. Mrs Rundle, who is now at her daughter's house at Mangatainoka, is also suffering greatly from shock.
