FLYERS HOME.

Embarrassed By 'Frisco

Reception.

WARM GREETING.

(Australian and N.Z. Press Association.)

(Received 11.30 a.m.)

SAX FRANCISCO, July 11

The two American members of the crew of the Southern Cross which made the epic transpacific flight have arrived.

Captain Lyon's wife and mother boarded the Malolo from a small boat, as did two sisters of Mr. J. Warner, and the Mayors of Oakland and San Francisco. Mounted police led the parade to the City Hall through great crowds, followed by flag-draped cars and 200 sailors from the U.S.s. Hew York. The flyers seemed embarrassed by the reception.

The majority of the thousands who greeted them watched the Southern Cross hop-off for Sydney.
