WAIZATO HUNT CLUB.
MID-WEEK RUN.
The Waikato hounds coursed over the district at Te Aroha on Wednesday afternoon, and despite the wet week experienced the country was in fairly good order, although the road approaches to the fences w,ere not too good. However, a splendid programme of courses was witnessed. The hounds, controlled by the master, Mr. Wynn Brown, were in excellent fettle. At the conclusion of the programme afternoon tea was dispensed at the residence of Mr. McLaren at Manawaru.

ELECTION OF OFFICERS.

The following officers were elected at the annual conference of the New Zealand Hunts Association: —President, Mr. Harold A. Russell; committee, representatives from Paparanrra, Rangitikei, Christchurch and South Canterbury Hants; hon. auditor, Mr. S. P. Godfrey (Christchurch).
