The Wingatui is to sail at 5 p.m. tomorrow for Lyttelton, Dunedin. Oamaru and Timaru. The Kaitoke arrived last night from Portland, and berthed at the King's wharf to fill up with general cargo for Wellington. She is to sail at 10 p.m. to-dav for Wellington. Lyttelton and Westport. The Kaimanawa arrived this morning from Westport and Napier and berthed at Chelsea. She is to sail aga'n to-morrow evening for Westport to load another cargo for Auckland. X- f ew Zealand purts, the Canadian National Meaner Canadian transporter is reported to have arrived at Montreal on Tuesday from New York and Boston She sail id from Auckland on May -i 7, and arrived at New York on July 3. - in arrival at Auckland this morning was th« Norwegian motor ship Brvnje (Cant O. Itegh) with a full cargo of hardwood from Bunbury for discharge at the King's wharf. Leaving Bunbury on June 27 the Brynje experienced strong westerly * and south-westerly winds until she rounded North Cape, while the high following sea caused the vessel to pitch badly, and kept the decks continually awash. The Brvnie maintained an average speed of 10 knots. On completion of discharge, the vessel is to go to San Pedro for fuel, after which she has been fix6d to load lumber on the Pacific Coast for Australia. (Robert Millar and Co. are the local agents).

Cabled advice from Southampton states that rhe Norwegian whaler C. A. Larsen arrived there yesterday from Port Chalmers. The C. A. Larsen was badly holed through striking a rock at Paterson s Inlet. Stewart Island. She was docked and patched at Port Chalmers, and Is now en route to Norway for repairs.

HEMUERA CUEABED MADEIRA. En route from London and Southampton, the New Zealand Shipping Co.'s steamer Remuera is reported to have cleared Madeira on Tuesday. She is due at Wellington on August 11 to land passengers, mails and part cargo, and is to come to Auckland to complete discharge about a week later. PORT HUON'S ITINERARY. No wireless advice had been received yesterday from the Commonwealth and Dominion Line's motor ship Port Huon, which Is scbedulad to arrive from London abont Saturday. The vessel's general merchandise cargo will be discharged at Auckland, Wellington, and New Plymouth. At New Plymouth the vessel will commence loading for her Homeward voyage, her other loading ports being Wanganui, Lyttelton. Napier, Waikokopu. Gisborne. and Auckland. She is scheduled to sail finally from Auckland on August 16 for New York, Boston, and London. The Port Huon is one of the latest vessels of the C. and D. Line. She is on her third voyage, but it will be her first visit to Auckland. The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company an 3 toe local agents. CANADIAN HIGHLANDER ARRIVED. To commence discharge of her genaral eargo from Montreal and Sydney (Cape Breton), the Canadian National" steamer Canadian Highlander (Captain R. St. A. Robertson) arrived at Auckland yesterday afternoon and berthed at the Prince's wharf. Her other ports of discharge are Wellington, Lyttelton. Timaru and Dunedin. The Canadian Highlander sailed from Montreal on May 27 and Svdnev on June 1. Colon was reached on .June 11," and Balboa was cleared on the following dav. The weather was generally fair until last Friday. when the wind freshened from the north-east. On Saturday the wind reached gale force, and rough seas caused the vessel to ship water fore and aft. On Sunday and Monday the wind continued blowing kard, hut from directions almost all round the compass. At midnight on Monday the wind sreadied in the west and blew with the force of a strong ga:e, All Tuesday the steamer hf.d difficulty in making headway against the storm, and in the afternoon the speed decreased to two knots. Late at night the storm moderated, and the vessel's spend increased, but boisterous conditions continued almost to port.
