PUBLIC NOTICES. BILL Notice Is hereby given that a local bill will be introduced into Parliament during the present Session thereof, under the title of "The Auckland War Memorial Museum Maintenance Act, 1925." The objects of the Bill are:— 1. To repeal sections 15 to 19 inclusive of "The Auckland City and Auckland Museum Empowering Act, 1924." 2. To provide for annual contribution of £6000 to the Auckland War Memorial Museum from the Local Bodies -whose names are set forth in the Schedule to the Bill. 3. To allocate the payment of the said sum of £6000 between such Local Bodies on a population basis and to provide for a notification to each of such Local Bodies of the amount due by it. 4. To authorise such Local Bodies to strike a War Memorial Museum Kate for the purpose of providing their contribution. 5. To provide for representation on the Council of the Auckland Institute and Museum from the Local Bodies contributing under the provisions of the Bill. The above Bill will be Introduced into Parliament by or on behalf of the Auckland Institute and Museum Trust Board. A copy of the said Bill has in accordance _ with the Standing Orders, been deposited in the Magistrate's Court at Auckland and Is there open for public inspection.
