"HAVE TURNED THE CORNER."
"During the year we have endeavoured to introduce new material into the show to make it more attractive to the publv#," said Mr. W. W. Massey, joint president. He added that the secretaries of the two associations (Messrs. W. F. O'Donnell and J. The last year or two had been a very trying time, not only for farmers, but for people ci all classes, continued Mr. Massey, but the corner had been turned. New Zealand was on the road to recovery, and the economic position was becoming more solid.
"We want to develop this city and this country, and to do so we must keep abreast of the times," said Mr. Mussey. He concluded by thanking m.-mbers and officials of the Auckland Harbour Board for the use of the sheds for sta*gi>i;- ; the show.
