POLITICIANS' TOUR.
NO NATIONALIST DELEGATE
(By Telegraph — I'rcss Association.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. The National party will not be represented in the New Zealand delegation vWhich is to take part in the Empire Parliamentary Association tour in Canada.
"Owing to the near approach of the general election and the impotent issues before the country at the present time, it is considered highly inadvisable that any member of the National party should be absent fr6m the Dominion during the present session or during the election period," said the Leader, of the party, Mr. G. W. Forbes, to-night. "We can only express our great regret that we are unable to take advantage of the generous invitation extended to the Dominion by the Canadian Government."
The delegates from the - Legislative Council have not been announced.
