Figures for the dairy season just ended now available from Thames \ alley and Hauraki Plains, show for butter making 5 875,7361b of butterfat, and for cheese making 1,968,8131b, for which advance payments have been made to farmers totalling £490,461. When a final settlement is made the total will be considerably over half a million sterling. The totals given exceed the previous year's payout by over £50,000.
