WEDDINGS OF THE WEEK.

On Thursday evening at Beresford Street Congregational Ihurch, the wedding took place of Miss Marg&retta Watson, second daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. A. Watson, of Ponsonby, to Mr. Edward Frederick, elder son oi Mr. and Mrs. F. Westbury. The Rev. Lionel Fletcher performed the ceremony. The bride wore a handsome gown of French ivory crepe de chine, black beaded, inset with pink roses, and carried a bouquet of pink roses and maidenhair fern. Miss Watson attended her sister, and was charmingly gowned in a French frock of apricot and gold, carrying a bouquet to match. Each wore a headdress of bandeau and white osprey. Mr. George Westbury acted as best man. After the ceremony a reception was held. KELLY—JEPSEN. St. John's Ohurch, Feilding, wa« the setting of a very pretty wedding on June 27, when Myrtle Ivy, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. Jepsen, Feilding, was married to Frederick Bernard, second aon of Mrs. and the late Mr. G. Kelly, Ellerslie, Auckland. The Rev. Canon Petrie officiatedj The bride, who entered the church on the arm of Mr. M. Salt, Palmerston North (the bridegroom's cousin), was charmingly gowned in a beautiful frock of ivory crepe de chine, draped with silver lace and pearl trimming. A hand-embroi-dered tulle verl was held in place by a coronet of orange blossom and a shower bouquet to tone completed a charming toilet. The bride was attended by Miss Valerie Hialop, of Levin, who was attired in pale pink taffeta with a frilled godet of pale blue georgette to tone, and Miss Grace Jepsen, sister of the bride, who wore a frock of muelrroom crepe de chine with of contrasting colours. Both bridesmaids wore Dutch caps of tulle and gold lace and carried ahower bouquets to tone. Mr. G. Kelly, brother of the bridegroom, was best man and Mr. J. Edlington groomsman. A reception was later he«l at the Carlton tea rooms, where about 100 «uest« were entertained, after •which Mr. and Mrs. Kelly left for the South.
