The Crecnhitlus Women's Institute celebrated Arbor Day on Saturday, noting in conjunction with the Progressive League, and n mo*t profitable morning was spent plaining numerous species of native trees in the reserve and ornamental trees on the Wharf Road; Morning tea was served by the members of the Women's Institute. It is anticipated that a comprehensive scheme for beautifying the roads will be continued each year.
