Since the early flays of the colonisation of New Zealand there have been many cases recorded of residents of the Dominion inheriting fortunes from relatives in Great Britain. The latest case recorded is that of Mr. Leonard Wilfred Williams Brown, of Hamilton, who hats received cabled advice that the Probate Court case concerning the disposition of the estate of his uncle, Mr. Charles Joseph Brown, a Newport banker, referred to in yesterday's cables, had been settled. Mr. Charles Brown died last May, at the age of 80, and his estate was valued at £50,000. Legal correspondence that has passed between the executors of the will and Mr. Brown attest to the accuracy of the position in which Mv. Brown finds himself.
