European Flight Put Off Till October. GREENLAND LANDING FIELD. (Australian and N.Z. Press Association.) (Received 10.30 a.m.) DETROIT, May 22. Colonel Lindbergh's proposed flight via Greenland to Europe has been definitely postponed until the autumn, due to the necessity of preparing a landing field at Greenland. Colonel Lindbergh believes that flying conditions are best in May, June and October. The field at Greenland will not be ready by June, however, so he prefers to wait until October.
