"HOSPITAL WEEK."
STARTING NEXT SUNDAY. AUXILIARY'S WORK. "Hospital Week," which is being conducted by-the Auckland Hospital Auxiliary, will start in Aucklnl on Sunday, Miy 27, when special church services will be held. During the week there will be a street collection to which, it is hoped, there will be a generous response. A reunion of trainees of the Auckland Hospital will be held at the hospital on the afternoon of Thursday, May 31. the Girl Guides of the Auckland Division will visit the hospital and distribute flowers in the women's and childier's wards. On Thursday night a bridge and social evening will be held in the Click Clack Cabaret, in the Rialto Buildings, Newmarket. Several Auckland theatre proprietors have agreed to give the prig;-,. ceed»,.from ;the sale of 3709 seats at I# the fund. During'the week th'fe chairman of the Auckland Hospital Board, Mr. William Wallace, will broadcast an address through IYA.
