WEDDINGS OF THE WEEK.

AMODEO—AUSTIN. The marriage of Mr. Reginald Basil Amodeo, youngest son of the late Captain and Mrs. Amodeo, to Miss Mary Teresa Austin, only daughter of Mrs. Austin, of Auckland, was celebrated this afternoon at St. Benedict's Church. Father Skinner officiated. Fashioned of ivory crepe de chine and wide silver lace, with an uneven hem and finished with silver rose at waist-line and on the shoulder, the bride's dainty frock was seen through a filmy embossed tulle veil, caught with a coronet of orange blossom round the head. The shower bouquet she carried was of tuber roses, azaleas and white roses, with silver ends. Miss Freda Sutherland was bridesmaid in a smart gown of iris mauve and silver lace. The head-dress was of tulle and sequins, with long tulle ends at one side. A lovely shower bouquet was carried to match the gown. Mr. Theodore Austin, the bride's brother, gave her away, the best man being Mr. Frank Austin, of Dargaville. The wedding reception is being held at the Domain Kiosk, which is nicely decorated in foliage and autumn tints. The bride's mother, Mrs. Austin, received the guests in a nigger brown ensemble costume of marocain, fox fur, black hat and carried an autumn-toned bouquet.
