SUPPRESSION OF NAMES.
MR. F. K. HUNT'S OPINION.
After Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., had dealt with a man who pleaded guilt v to a venial offence at the Police Court this morning, counsel for the defendant made application for the suppression of accused's name. „ " ;No : certainly not," replied Mr. Hunt, "not in this case; why, we might as well turn the Press out of Court altogether."
