A TIP TO SPORTS SECRETARIES
TEAMS AND MATCH RESULTS.
Secretaries of football clubs, in submitting teams for inclusion in Friday's "Star," should observe the following points:—(a) The code, whether Rugby, League, or Soccer, should be written in the left* hand corner of the sheet, (b) The club and grade must be mentioned, (c) The names of teams should be written plainly, along the lines, rather than in columns. (d) When possible the teams should reach the office on Thursday and not later than 9 a.m. on Friday (e) In cases in which more than one team is being submitted the grades should be given in order of seniority. If these points are observed the work of setting out the teams is reduced to a minimum, and accuracy is assured.
