BAY OF ISLANDS. There were two surprises in the senior competition on Saturday, the two leading teams being defeated. Results:— Seniors.—Kaikohe 6, beat Okaihan 3. C. Greaves, of Okaihau, had three ribs broken, and P. Sherrington was 6rdered off for rough play. L. Amos, of Kaikohe, sustained severe injuries. Ohaeawai 6, beat Kawakawa 4. For the winners Knight kicked a penalty goal and Watling scored. Rogers kicked a field goal for the losers. , Juniors. —Kaikohe drew with Okaihau 9; Ohaeawai 11, beat Kawakawa 6. WAIUKXJ. The following matches were placed on Saturday : Aka Aka 9, beat Otaua o; Walpipl 5, beat City 0. OPITIKI FIXTURES. (By Telegraph.—Own Corespondent.) OPOTIKI, this day. The Opotikl Rugby representatives will play the Whakatane representatives at Taneatua on the King's Birthday. The City Club will send a team to Te Puke to compete In the seven-a-slde tournament on the same day.
