WEDDINGS OF THE WEEK.

ARNOLD—TULLY. The wedding took place at St. Paul's Church, Knights bridge, England, on Wednesday, April 18, of Miss Joan Kathleen Tully, only child of Mrs. C. Tully, of Wellington, New Zealand, and Mr. Vere Arbuthnot Arnold, son of the Rev. Henry Arbuthnot Arnold, rector of Wolsingham, County Durham, and Mrs. Arnold. Bishop Hook, Suffragan Bishop of Kingston, officiated. Mrs. Monica Stratton was dame of honour, and the bridesmaids were Miss Bewa Watson, Miss Joan Arnold, Miss Cecilia Fitzherbert and Miss Jean Johnson. The bridegroom was supported by Mr. H. S. H. Gilmer as best man, and the groomsmen were Mr. Colin Grant, Mr. W. Ross Skinner, Mr. J. C. Bateson, Mr. R. A. Ingle. After the ceremony a reception was held at the Rembrandt HoteL FALLA—BURTON. A popular wedding took place at Te Aroha to-day at St. Mark's . Church, when Elayne, younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Burton, was married to Mr. Robert Falla, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. G. Falla, Calliope Road, Devonport. The Rev. R. L. Connolly officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, was attired in a frock of ivory satin and silver lace over pale pink. Her embroidered tulle veil, which formed a train, was held in place by a circlet of orange blossoms, and she carried a bouquet of white and pale pink roses. Mrs. Law, her sister, attended as matron of honour, and wore a frock of shell pink georgette with diamante trimmings. Her hat was of green georgette and pink roses. Miss N. Falla, sister of the bridegroom, was also in attendance, and wore a deeper shade of pink georgette and headdress of rose tulle and silver lame. Both carried shower bouquets of pink roses and chrysanthemums. Little Miss Hester Nicholls was flower girl, and wore a petal frock of green georgette trimmed with rose buds and silver ribbon, and carried a basket of pink flowers. Mr. C. Noble, of Wellington, was best man, and Mr. E. Hammer groomSban. Mr. Cedric Radcliffe officiated at the organ, and played the wedding march as the happy couple left the church. Mrs. Burton, mother of the bride, wore a sand-coloured tailored costume with hat to tone. Mrs. Falla, mother of the bridegroom, wore navy crepe de chine, relieved with cream a#id hat to match. The guests were entertained at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Burton.
