CHURCH MEETING
ST. ANDREW'S, EPSOM
The annual meeting of parishioners of St. Andrew's Anglican Church. Epsom, will take place this evening. The 82nd annual report refers to the death of no less than eleven parishioner' during the year.
Referring to the appointment of the new vicar, the Rev. F. P. de L. Willis, the report states the parishioners had reason to congratulate themselves on the good fortune of having one so eminently suited to the requirements of St. Andrew's.
The ba'ance-sheet for the year was reported to be again a satisfactory on". The total amount cf receints was £13f»6, as compared with £12->."i in the previous year. As a result of the jubilee special offertory, an amount of £26fl B's was received and included in the accounts. The Women's Guild again made a handsome donation of £220 toward the reduction of the church enlargement debt. of which £42i was paid off during the year, leaving still £500. Reference was mad'' to the satisfactory progress in the Sunday school and other activities i 'mected with the church.
