WAITEMATA COUNTY.
BY-ELECTION NEXT WEDNESDAY.
A by-election will be held on Wednesday to fill a vacancy on the Waitemata County Council caused by the resignation of Mr. W. Oliphant. ' Four nominations have been received— Messrs. Raymond R. Fisher, Henry Paltridge, William R. Walker, and Rowland Wood. Polling places will be, at the county offices, Sliortland Street: Foresters' Hall Henderson; Knight's Hall, Henderson Valley, and the Social Hall. Swanson
