WHANGAREI WINTER SHOW.
A RECORD ATTENDANCE.

WHANGAREI, this day.
The winter show concluded on Saturday, when, despite unsettled weather, no less than 4767 people paid for admission. The total attendance easily constitutes a record, being 11,251, against the previous record of 9708 in 1926. This year the gate receipts were £500 13/6, against £434 2/ in 1926. The show was in every way a great success. Shopping week, which was also highly successful, assisted to swell the "gate."
