BUT'ERFAT PAYMENTS.
The cheques issued by the N.Z. Cooperative Dairy Co. for butoterfat supplied in April total £346.130. This brings the total payments for the current season to £3,347,006, compared with £2,900,088 for thf corresponding period of 1936-27. The advance* made by 11 co-operative dairy operating in the Wairarapa for the April supply have totalled £293,328, compared with £360,901 for Apr,!, 1927.
The total for this season is £4,000,763. Excluding Tatuanui, the aggregate for 10 companies is £3,965,684, as against last season, an increase of £.3«9,62ij.
