MOTORING ACCIDENTS.

COLLISION IN POVERTY BAY. THREE OF FAMILY IN HOSPITAL. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) GISBORNE, Sunday. As the result of a collision between two motor cars at Patutahi last evening, one car, driven by Frances Parker and containing his wife and three children, went head-first into a wide drain and fell on its side. The occupants were thrown out. Mr. Parker escaped with bruises, but Mrs. Parker had ribs broken and bruised; Doris Parker, aged 11 years, had one wrist broken and suffered abrasions; and Jack Parker, aged eight years, was cut about the legs. The sufferers were removed to the Cpok Hospital, but it is not thought their injuries are serious.
