TRAMWAYS ONE UP.
Belmont made a strong bid against Tramways, and the game was evenly contested from end to end. Despite persistent attacks Tramways failed to penetrate the Belmont defence in the first half, which was without score. Tramways kept up the pressure in the second spell, but it was not until after Porteous was ordered off, and they were left with ten men, that they had success. Fyfe getting a fast ground shot into the net. An exciting finish saw Belmont strongly on the attack, bat the Tramways defence held, and the game ended Tramways 1 Belmont 0
