In the lawn tennis match, British women versus French, Miss Betty Nuthall defeated Madame Vaussard, 6—3, 6—3; Miss Joan Fry defeated Madame Bordes, 6—l, 6—l; Miss Eileen Bennett defeated Madame Lafaurie, 6— i, 6—3; Mrs. Watson defeated Mademoiselle Deve, 6—l, 6—l. In the doubles Miss Fry and Miss Colver defeated Madame Bordes and Mademoiselle Bourgeois, 6 —o, 6—3; Madame Lafaurie and Mademoiselle Deve defeated Miss Nuthall and Mrs. Lycett, 6—3, 6—4.
