Against University a strong effort was made by the new North Shore combination, and the Interval was reached with the score 2 all—Don and' Hamilton netting for the students and Thornton and Antlionv for Shore. Areta starting a man short were quickly In arrears against Mount Eden, for goals by Penman and Ash (2), put the latter three up by half-time. In the second half the scoring was freqnent but evenly distributed. Ash and Penman (2), netting for Mount Eden, while Taylor and Savajre (2), registered for Areta.
