BAT OF PLENTY MEETING. (By Telegraph—Own Correspondent.) OPOTIKI, this day. The concluding day of the Bay of Plenty Sheepdog Trials Club's trials was favoured with ideal weather, three events being run off. The final results were:— Class 8, short head, pull, and hold In ring.—J. Bird's Scud, 88 points, 1; C. Gordon's Bock, 32J, 2; C. T. Clark's Matt, 26}, 3; 8. Mall's Darkey, 26, 4. The possible was 50, and there were thirteen entries. » Class 4, long head, pull, and bold in ring (possible 50 points).. Seventeen entries. W. G. Butler's Chum,. 401, 1; J. M. Butler's Fay, 39|, 2; J. Thomas* Fame, 391. 3: A. Ahler's Jock, 37, 4. Class 5, short head, -pull, drive and yard (possible 60). Fifteen entries.—J. M. Butler's Tul, 52. 1; J. Chalmers* Don, 45, 2; J. Breingan's Bob, and J. M. Butler's Fay (tied), 44 points each, 3.
