COMPANY AFFAIRS.
COLONIAL SUGAR COMPANY. SYDNEY, May 9. At the adjourned general meeting of shareholders in the Colonial Sugar Refining Company, the chairman announced that the ballot of shareholders in connection with the proposed alteration in the company's articles resulted in a majority of 11,209 in favour of the amendment. The alteration deals with the conditions tinder which trust companies can arrange to hold shares.
