THE SECOND ROUND. DEBUT OF MARIST. There will be a particularly attractive programme at Cavlaw Paik tomorrow afternoon wheii the second round of the Rugby League's competitions will be played. In the A grade the Ellerslie team, which confounded the critics by defeating Ponsonby in their opening game, have the bye, and principal attention will centre on the first appearance of Marist, who expect to field a formidable team. They are drawn against Richmond, who lowered the colours of the Newton team, last season's champions, on the opening day. Three senior A matches will be staged at C'arlaw Park, Richmond playing Marist. Ponsonby meeting City, while Newton have been drawn against Devonport. The senior fixtures are: Newton v.
