SOCIAL CLUBS' CONTEST.
BOWLS, BILLIARDS, AND BRIDGE.
(By Telefraph.—Own Correspondent.) DARGAVILLE, Monday.
The annual competition between the Dargaville and Whangarei social clubs in bowls, billiards and bridge ended on Saturday in favour of Dargaville, who bad previously unsuccessfully competed for the annual Crane-Hayes shield for five years. A carload of Whangarei Club members capsized on the Mangaru, Hills when they were en route to the Fortunately no serious damage was done' aad the ear waa driven on to Dargaville.
