BOXING IN SYDNEY.
CURLEY DEFEATS DEMSKY.

WELLINGTON, this day.
News was received from the broadcast station, 2BL, Sydney, that Johnny Cur ley "was awarded a victory at Sydney Stadium over Paul Demskv, through a technical knockout in the fifth round of a 15-rounds contest. Demsky went down for nine seconds, but when he recovered his feet he was not fit to continue. so the fight was awarded to Curley. Demskv had taken the count for nine seconds in a previous round.
