MARAMA ARRIVED. TURAJCINA IK PORT. I With the arrival of the Turakina from ' Liverpool last night, and the Marama from Sydney this morning, the port is fairly busy. The only departure for overseas ports was the Niagara, which resumed her voyage to Sydney shortly after noon to-day. Tahiti, which arrived at Wellington from Sydney yesterday morning, is to sail at 3 p.m. to-day for Rarotonga, Papeete and Sen Francisco. For final loading for New York, Boston and London, the New Zealand Shipping Co.'s steamer Piako is to leave Napier for Auckland this evening. She is announced to sail finally from this port at daybreak on Saturday next. Due at Wellington from London to-mor-row, the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Auckland, has the following passengers : Mesdames M. Grimmond, A. Wilson, M. Rouse, Mr. W. Wilson. Her other ports of discharge are: Lyttelton, Tlmaru and New Plymouth. MARAMA ARRIVED. .With passengers, mails and cargo from Sydney, the Union Co.'s steamer Marama arrived at Auckland this morning and berthed at the Queen's wharf. Fine weather was experienced on the voyage. The vessel is scheduled to sail on her return voyage to Sydney at 3 p.m. on Friday next. The repairs to the Kintyre's engines will not be finished before the end of the week. From Auckland she is to go to Wanganui to complete discharge of her phosphate cargo. After bunkering at Westport she will return to Auckland to dock, and is then to go to Nauru or Ocean Island. (Henderson and Macfarlane, Ltd., agents.) A further wireless report from the Vacuum Oil Company's tanker Voco, with oH from 'San Pedro, states that ehe expects to reaoh Auckland at noon to-morrow. The local portion of her cargo will be discharged at the Western wharf and the remainder foe Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. As to-morrow is a holiday, the Government steamer Hinemoa will not come into port until daybreak on Thursday. She has a full cargo of fruit and copra from Niue to discharge at the King's wharf. She is scheduled to saiil again on -Saturday next with passengers, mails and cargo for Norfoflk Island. (Spedding, Ltd., agents.) The local office of the Union Companv has received advice that the Sussex left Samarang yesterday, and is due at Auckland on Mar 12. From Auckland she is to go to Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin to complete discharge, and is scheduled to clear the latter port on May 25 on her return voyage to Calcutta, via Newcastle and Java. The Marine Department advises that a sunken rock is reported to exist at a distance of three-quarters of a mile off Miner's Head, Great Barrier Island, and in a line with the outer extreme of Moko Hina islands. A sounding of seven fathoms was obtained in this locality, shortly after which some white patches of rock, indicating a lesser depth, were observed. WARNING TO MARINERS. The secretary of the Post and Telegraph department has received advice that the following navigation warning was broadcast by radio from Sydney at 11.30 p.m. on Saturday:— The Navigation Department reports tiiat all floating^ navigation marks are out of position between Lytton (Brisbane) and Pete Light.
