TAURANGA UNION.
There was a good attendance at the annual meeting of the Tauranga Rugby Union.
The report showed that the union had a fairly successful season, especially in the junior competitions. The balance-sheet di»closed a email credit balance.
It was decided that the weight limit in junior competitions be list 71b. The election of officers resulted :—Patron, Mr, C. E. Macmillan. M.P.; president, Mr. P. Warner; vice-presidents. Messrs. T. Tanner, D. E. Wool lame. J. Tanner, H. .T. Rowe, G. S. Butler, H. E. Olding. J. Bongard, W. Armstrong and Dr. MacDiarmid; secretary and treasurer, Mr. P. Reweti; hon. surgeons. Drs. MacDlarmid, Stuart and Sweet: auditor. Mr. C. Clinkard; management committee, Messrs. N. Day, G. Bntler, ,T. Neal, T. McLeod, J. Kennedy, W. Armstrong. W. Dennieton.
At a meetlrig of the management committee the arrangements with the Te'Puke Union made by the delegates to Te Pake ■were confirmed. As a result a Te Puke team will be playing every other Saturday in and vice versa.
The senior and junior competitions will open on Saturday.
