ROYAL DAMON SOLD.
Subject to passing a veterinary examination the five-year-old chestnut gelding Royal Damon, by Polydamon from Royal Moment, by Merry Moment, has been purchased by Mr. E. L. Riddiford. Royal Damon was bred by Mr. T. F. Walker, and raced in the interests of Mrs. A. M. Hutchinson. He was trained for the bulk of his races by the late H. Hickey, and after his death was transferred to the care of H. S. Greene. If the gelding changes hands he will be trained by Captain J. Gage Williams at Trentham.
