THAMES PLUNKET SOCIETY.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) • THAMES, this day. At the annual meeting of the Thames Plunket Society, Mrs. E. X. Miller presiding, a letter was received from the Old Thames Girls' Association enclosing a donation of £40 12/. to be used in furnishing the memorial room in the proposed new Plunket building. The donation was made in recognition of the splendid help rendered to members, of the association, and the gTeat interest taken by the president, Mrs. Oldham The meeting elected Mrs. Oldham a life honorary member. The following officers were electedPresident, Mrs. E. N. Miller; vice-presi-dents Mesdames Liggins, Sowerbv, and Price; secretary, Mrs. Mackay;* treasurer, Mrs. Ldggins, sen. During the year 3084 visits were made to the Plunket Society's rooms, and 1057 homes were visited.
