STOLE A CYCLE.
FROM OUTSIDE TEPID BATHS.
SEAMAN FINED £3
The theft of a cycle valued at £9 10/ was admitted by William Brett (30), who was before the Police Court this morning.
Chief Detective Hammond stated that the cycle wag removed from outside the Tepid Baths on April 4, and was found the following day at Brett's house in Hobson Street. Bctt was a seaman out of work, and was "iven to drink.
Accused, who had nothing to sav, was lined £.», or ten days' imprisonment.
