Mr. TV. Applet on. chairman of Huddait I arker. Ltd., stated that the company had failed to obtain crews for the steamers Barwon and Yarra, thouph it was anxious to recommission these vessels.
In the cases of the Ulimaroa. Zcalandia and Corio he was unable to say when the next call for crews trould be made.
Mr. Applet on believes that the steamer Goulburn will next be involved with the marine cooks, who are causing the holdup, and who are determined to refuse duty until their demand is conceded, despite Judge Detheridge's threat to cancel their award.
